A channel industry source has told Reseller News that Datacraft owner Dimension Data has reached a conditional agreement to buy Integral/Axon. The source, who wished to remain anonymous, said the combined company would be able to compete head to head with the likes of services company Gen-i and would be significantly larger than Fujitsu after its merger with Infinity Solutions. That took place in 2007. Datacraft says it will make a major business announcement at a press conference in Auckland tomorrow morning. A Datacraft spokesperson told Computerworld it could not advise what the announcement was regarding. Reseller News earlier reported rumours that the deal was in progress.
