Datacraft's purchase of Integral Axon is now unconditional.
Industry insiders say a deal for Datacraft to buy Integral/Axon was concluded last week and awaits final approval from Datacraft's head office in Singapore.
Industry sources say Datacraft owner Dimension Data may be planning to acquire Integral/Axon, however Datacraft country manager Robin Hartendorp said he was unable to comment on whether any deals were pending. One industry member said the acquisition deal under negotiation, and said it could be among the biggest by value in the local IT industry.
The amalgamation of Integral and Axon is moving at speed following the acquisition, with Integral’s Auckland staff moving to Axon’s premises today.
He says the change has not impacted Eagle positively or negatively and for the company it is “business as usual”, however he believes companies are finding it difficult keeping staff and maintaining latest versions of software.
