LG unveiled a cinema 3D video wall at Hoyts Cinemas at Auckland's Sylvia Park at an exclusive evening function yesterday.
LG's video wall stands at over 2 metres tall by 3.6 metres wide and is made up of nine LG 3D-capable high definition video display panels.
When combined together the screens feature 16.6 million pixels delivering a highly detailed large screen experience. The 3D video wall was shipped over in parts from LG’s advanced factory in South Korea and is flanked by 2 LG Ultra HD (4k) TVs, the impressive 84- and 65-inch LG Ultra HDTVs.
Hoyts Corporate Sales Manager, Ross Churchouse, said that giving people the chance to see upcoming content in 3D seemed like a natural progression from the increasing popularity of 3D film viewing.
LG NZ’s National Marketing Manager, Glen Chean, unveiled the 3D wall, and said that the company was committed to providing customers an unbelievable entertainment experience.
LG also recently announced New Zealand’s first Curved OLED TV that went on sale across 10 stores around the country this week at an RRP of $14,999.
