Sharon is a pioneer in the Australian agency industry and a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia. In 1995 she established Taurus, a boutique public relations and integrated marketing agency after a successful career in marketing and management across the UK, Europe and Asia. Taurus has since gone on to help over 1000 businesses. Under Sharon’s leadership and entrepreneurial flair, Taurus is now recognised as one of Australia’s highest profile agencies, offering unparalleled levels of service to entrepreneurs and global corporations including Napoleon Perdis and Clean Up Australia. Sharon was instrumental in helping founding client KAZ Group go from media obscurity to one of Australia’s highest-profile and largest information communications technology companies. In 2004 KAZ group was bought by Telstra for $333 million. Based in Sydney but serving entrepreneurs globally, Sharon’s vision for Taurus is to provide practical and smart business communications expertise to entrepreneurs, start-ups, ASX listed companies and NFP’s.

    Isabel has worked in and around the technology industry for the last 25 years in roles that lend itself to high levels of creativity, business acumen and innovation. In 2016 Isabel was honoured to receive both the WIICTA for Innovation and the Australian Business Award for Marketing Excellence. Today, Isabel is the Martech Industry Lead at Microsoft where she is establishing a new category of business for Microsoft and its partners. Isabel is married to fellow industry professional, Gary and has two children (15 and 18). She enjoys the challenge of property investment and has moved three times in two years! She loves a good podcast and is open to recommendations that will enrich or just entertain. As a parent of two teens, Isabel understands first hand how daunting technology can be for parents in this changing world to adopt and navigate. She volunteers with ThinkUKnow to educate parents on the pitfalls and resources.

  • Lisa Stockwell (Panelist)

    IoT & Digital Strategy, Arrow ECS ANZ

    Lisa is responsible for new vendor acquisition, driving Arrow’s IoT strategy in ANZ and for leading a team of Vendor Managers who are tasked with implementing successful vendor strategies to drive growth and business development. She is instrumental in driving new vendor adoption through Arrow’s Technology Expansion Plan and plays a key role in the development of programs and processes to benefit all partners across the IT ecosystem. Lisa began her career in IT in 1991 and has since progressed into senior marketing roles in IT focusing on business planning and strategy development across the channel. Lisa’s contribution to the industry has been recognised time and time again. In 2016 she received the Shining Star award at the ARN Women in ICT Awards. In 2018, she received the Marketing Excellence award at the ARN Innovation Awards, and, in the same year, she was named a finalist in the Marketing category at the CEO Magazine Executive of the Year Awards.

    Nicola has a strong finance and technology background and has held a number of roles from Head of Strategy, CFO, Management Consulting and most recently as Director - Digital Strategy, Architecture and Customer Experience at the University of New South Wales. Nicola is passionate about driving strategic change and transformation by leveraging improvements in technology, from strategy development and execution, where Nicola has lead the development of very successful ICT strategy delivery for eHealth NSW, through to large scale system integration where Nicola was the Technology Director at Sydney Trains implementing the Enterprise Asset Management SAP system. Nicola is currently Chair of the Board of the CIO council and is passionate about enabling strategic change with leading edge technology application and using data to inform better customer experiences. Nicola holds memberships as a fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants, holds an MBA in International Finance is a member of the Institute of Company Directors.

    Rajitha’s heart lies with the underdog, ever ready to create the next David vs Goliath story. It’s this passion that motivated her to start-up Oreta and more recently buy into Telstra’s ICT channel for small business to create a vehicle to encourage small to medium enterprises to compete on the big stage. As Director of Operations, Rajitha’s discipline and rigour is what transforms the visionary ideas into reality. Her razor-sharp focus on execution was born from her 13+ years at Accenture where she worked with Fortune 500 firms across the globe to transform their operations to be more effective, more efficient and more pertinent to their customers. Rajitha is a passionate advocate for workplace diversity and recognises the importance of women in IT. She applies these values at Oreta, is an ambassador for the profession, and a female role model within the industry. She has spoken at various forums, encouraging hundreds of young school girls to consider a career in IT, and has participated and provided funding for mentoring programs.
