Ahmed ElAshmawy

GDPR Specialist, Axenic

Ahmed is a Principal Consultant at Axenic Ltd. He has significant experience as a trainer, as well as being a hands-on practitioner. He is a CERT-Certified Computer Security Incident Handler (CSIH) and a SEI-Authorised Instructor. Throughout his 20 years of experience in ICT and security, Ahmed has worked for a number of organisations which provided him with a broad, real-world experience across government, health care, financial services, media, energy and telecommunications. In addition, he has been previously a member of the technical team of Q-CERT, Qatar’s national Computer Emergency Response Team. As a consultant at Axenic, Ahmed provided information security and privacy services to government and private sector organisations including risk assessments, security audits, building Information Security Management Systems based on ISO 27001 and GDPR.

Daniel Parsons

Daniel is responsible for cloud solutions design and architecture. Eight years with Revera, he also helps clients and senior management navigate risks in the cloud. He’s held a variety of roles in IT, including business analyst, software developer, and network engineer.

Robyn Campbell

Robyn is a Director in the Cyber Security practice at PwC NZ, specialising in the use of information and privacy impacts. Robyn has spent over 14 years supporting her clients to manage difficult business problems in IT, security, privacy and risk. She works across a range of areas from privacy maturity to governance, risk, and compliance of security and IT. Robyn is well versed with the key approaches used across private and public sector organisations and understands their practical challenges and benefits. Robyn has undergraduate degrees in computer science and commerce, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), among other things.

Kate Anderson

Senior Associate, MinterEllisonRuddWatts

Kate is a Senior Associate in the Wellington Corporate team, with experience in technology based contracts and transactions. She has excellent project management and client relationship skills, providing day-to-day support on all aspects of a project. Kate works on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions, reviewing supply and sale and purchase agreements, and advising on ICT contracts. She also advises on corporate compliance issues, Overseas Investment Office (OIO) applications and consumer protection. Kate joined MinterEllisonRuddWatts as a law clerk in 2009, and has worked in the Corporate team on a variety of matters. In 2010 she completed a six month secondment to MinterEllison in Canberra, where she worked primarily in the International Trade and Competition team.
