EDGE 2020 Goes Virtual
Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP) has added two new members to the prestigious judging panel for the first annual NetApp Innovation Awards: William P. Barnett and Keith Liu. Barnett is the Thomas M. Siebel Professor of Business Leadership, Strategy and Organizations at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. Liu is the Anchor of e and Generation e for CNBC Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. They join judges Nick Allen, Vice President and Research Director, Gartner Research; Peter Burrows, Silicon Valley Senior Editor, BusinessWeek; and Brian Fonseca, Senior Writer, eWEEK.
So far, more than 25 enterprise customers are in the submissions queue for awards in five categories. The deadline for nominations is October 1, 2004 and NetApp customers may nominate themselves or be nominated by a NetApp sales representative or channel partner.
From the start, the NetApp Innovation Awards have relied on a prestigious third-party panel of judges. The awards distinguish themselves in the industry by adding outside expertise and a critical, unbiased assessment of real-world NetApp deployments at customer sites.
The NetApp Innovation Awards honour customers who have achieved positive business and/or community results using NetApp solutions, demonstrated creativity and conceptual leadership in storage and/or caching best practices, and embody the NetApp ‘can do’ and ‘create a model company’ spirit.
