NOMINATIONS EXTENDED - CLOSE ON AUGUST 10
EDGE 2020 Goes Virtual
Sydney, Australia – August 1, 2017: As of July 1, Australian based SHAPE has implemented Procore across 54 projects, worth a total of $168 million. Fitouts for Amazon, Westpac and KPMG are just some of the SHAPE projects now utilising Procore’s technology.
Procore’s technology is helping SHAPE to create a more collaborative project delivery experience for its customers, subcontractors and consultants by streamlining processes, reducing double handling and increasing transparency across all project stages.
Procore’s technology enables improved efficiencies in the Australian construction industry through data-driven technology, and can manage everything from corporate administration, to tendering, project and site management.
SHAPE completed an extensive review of its internal project delivery software in search of a simpler, faster and smarter system. SHAPE now uses Procore for project communication and collaboration, site management processes for safety and quality, and tender distribution.
George Panacheril, Group Executive of Strategy for SHAPE said, “Any good software should make processes simpler and faster for your people, and help them work smarter. Procore stood out to us because the team inspired us with confidence that we could work in a spirit of partnership for the long term.”
SHAPE was drawn to Procore because its open source platforms allowed integration with existing software, like Salesforce, as well as its commitment to research and development.
“When selecting a project delivery software, we considered the long term value, not just cost. What you pay for now is not just the features of today, but you’re investing in what it will be tomorrow.”
“The open-source nature of Procore is great, as it allows us to work with what we’ve already got. Its commitment to research and development is outstanding, and gives us confidence that the software will grow with us,” concluded Panacheril.
Milton Walters, Procore’s VP of Marketing and Sales in APAC commented, “Good user-centric construction software should integrate into every part of a business. No one software is a one-stop-shop, but with Procore, our integrations allow you to get pretty close.”
“We’re very excited to be working with SHAPE, and we look forward to developing our software alongside them to meet their shifting needs.”
Procore opened its first international office in Sydney in April to meet increasing customer demand for leading edge yet user intuitive technology.
Procore has over 150 customers and 70,000 users in Australia. Procore has more than 1000 employees globally and now has a billion-dollar valuation, making it an exciting addition to the Australian construction tech industry.
