Achieve brilliant things with the Microsoft Cloud... and Umbrellar’s Partner Programme

As an Umbrellar Reseller, you’ll benefit from access to our technical expertise, marketing material and content, and sales training – as well as plugging you into our ecosystem of service providers for smart collaboration and synergy.

Umbrellar brought digital transformation to life with their partners, Information Leadership (Christchurch) and Walkerscott (Wellington), with the Umbrellar Partner Breakfast Series in Christchurch on 30 October 2018 and Wellington on 31 October 2018. Exploring the realities of enabling business intelligence and how to manage data and information, attendees enjoyed a fantastic breakfast while hearing real-world experiences and customer case studies from Umbrellar’s partners, as well as a talk from renowned DevOps Behaviourist, Aurynn Shaw, who broke down the systemic cultural challenges faced by organisations throughout a digital transformation journey, and provided actionable insights needed to work through these barriers.

The events, organised in collaboration with Microsoft, are just one example of the benefits gained from joining the Umbrellar Partner Programme.

“There are more ways than ever to create business opportunities,” explained Umbrellar Group CEO, Michael Foley. “Umbrellar is here to help you to be the hero in your own New Zealand success story. We aim to empower organisations in New Zealand to achieve brilliant things with the Microsoft Cloud. Our vision is to be the partner of choice within the NZ IT industry, while we bring the best people, partnerships, resources and expertise to NZ businesses to make the most of Microsoft’s suite of cloud services, and digitally transform your end customers’ businesses.”

David Howden, Umbrellar’s Head of Cloud, commented, “The issue is that there is amazing technology available for today’s businesses, but customers need support to reap the benefits.”

Umbrellar offers the Microsoft CSP Platform with New Zealand’s only Azure Stack for Resellers. Umbrellar Cloud, powered by Azure Stack, is an extension of Azure, and brings the agility and fast-paced innovation of cloud computing to New Zealand.

Only our Azure Stack lets you deliver Azure services hosted here in New Zealand, while balancing the right amount of flexibility and control for truly consistent hybrid cloud deployments. And through our partnership with Microsoft, you can offer both Azure Stack and Azure public cloud for resale, enabling hybrid cloud options with the same look and feel. So you can build once and deploy over either or both platforms.

Umbrellar combines the offering of Azure Stack with a Partner Programme that provides a wide range of benefits for Resellers. In a nutshell, the programme combines world-leading cloud solutions from Microsoft with Umbrellar’s own unmatched support and customer network. Our resellers are able to move up the value chain, become more involved in your customers’ businesses, reduce churn, find new customers, and deliver managed and bundled services to create long-term recurring value.

Here are a few of the many benefits you get from becoming an Umbrellar Reseller:

Collaboration. Everything we do is in partnership with our ecosystem of service providers connecting you with other companies with complementary skillsets, opening new avenues for collaboration.

Technical experts. We provide technical pre-sales support to our partners to help you win business, and after-sales support to ensure smooth delivery.

Marketing as a Service. We provide marketing workshops and have white label marketing material and content that is ready to use on your website, social media and sales collateral for maximum impact and to keep your pitch refreshed and current.
