Exclusive Networks sponsored the Homegrown Innovation Award category because we started life as a home-grown innovator ourselves – and as we grew, one of the most important things to us was always to be seen as a good example of Homegrown success - to inspire others in the Pacific region to follow their aspirations and start their businesses here too. It’s no secret that we started life as WhiteGold Solutions, a start-up business created in Sydney back in 2002 on a shoe-string budget of less than $5000. As we developed our business interstate and then of course across the pond to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands just a few short years later – we always retained our mantra of “Think Global, Act Local” to try and ensure that we were always relevant to local customers, but brought the value of global relationships and technologies to them.
Fast forward sixteen years and after an acquisition by Exclusive Networks Group in 2014, and in particular fantastic growth in our New Zealand business, we believe that Exclusive Networks Pacific remains a shining light for New Zealanders and Pacific Islanders to look to, as an example of this region's intrinsic "Can Do" attitude. You CAN start a business of your own and fund it yourself. You CAN compete and succeed against larger, more substantial organisations with international/global presence and assistance. You CAN service your own local market with the best available people, products and strategy.
It's not easy. We know that our value to our partners will only strengthen if we innovate and differentiate, in a way that fulfils our partner's needs in an ever-changing technology and channel landscape. We know that we need to enable partners in an efficient, knowledgeable and relevant way to help them compete in a ferocious marketplace, punctuated by change. This is why we have continued to introduce fresh, new enablement strategies to help our partners succeed like never before.
