After a few days to digest <a href="http://www.computerworld.com/action/inform.do?command=search&searchTerms=Apple+Inc.">Apple Inc.</a>'s OS <a href="http://www.apple.com/iphone/softwareupdate/">2.1 update for the iPhone</a>, users are generally reporting that it takes care of numerous problems that have plagued the phone since the 3G model was introduced in July. As Computerworld 's Gregg Keizer has <a href="http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&articleId=9114581">already documented</a>, initial postings to Apple's support forums were positive, with the majority of 2.1 adopters seeing user interface speed and stability improvements, better backup speeds and other small and welcome changes.
