Lenovo DCG taps former TPG channel boss

Lenovo Data Centre Group has appointed Kyle Bunting as its head of enterprise sales for Australia and New Zealand.

Bunting replaces Shayne Harris who has moved into the Asia Pacific device as a service business. 

Is this role, Bunting will I run the sales teams across Australia which sells a range of servers, storage, switches, private cloud, hyper converged infrastructure and software. 

"My expectations are to grow the A/NZ business for the Data Centre Group," Bunting told ARN. "I’m going to do this showing the A/NZ enterprise businesses that Lenovo is building highly scalable enterprise grade products that enable their business now and into the future."

As previously reported by ARN, Bunting vacated his role of head of channel, alliances and dealers at TPG Telecom in April. He joined TPG in 2015 with the responsibility to manage and grow both TPG and AAPT channel sales business in the country.

Before joining TPG, Bunting had worked for Dell for 12 years and was lastly the cloud services director, cloud services Asia Pacific. In that role he was responsible for managing the global expansion of Dell's public cloud strategy into Asia Pacific.
