Ingram Micro has inked an exclusive deal with Aussie-based Commbox.
Distributor Ingram Micro is bringing the Commbox suite of interactive touchscreens, control systems and accessories to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Sydney-based Commbox's range includes the rugged Classmate touchscreen product, which is built to withstand the knocks of the school environment.
Its high-end Pulse touchscreen is more at home in corporate boardrooms, delivering video conferencing services at 4K resolution.
Announcing the exclusive distribution deal, Ingram Micro business manager James Harwood said Commbox had built a reputation for products that were "well-designed, feature-rich, and consistently reliable".
Nicholas Hall, CEO at Commbox, said Ingram Micro’s extensive reseller community and its comprehensive offering make it the ideal company to partner with in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
In July, Commbox won an Australian Good Design Award for Design Excellence for its InstallMate, an electronically operated lift that makes it easy for one person to install wall mounted touchscreens, which can range in size from 32-inch (81cm) to 98-inch (249cm).
Commbox products will be featured during upcoming Ingram Micro business and education showcase events.
Commbox was established in 1976 and its products are manufactured in Australia and Korea.
