Westcon-Comstor strikes NZ services deal with Insentra

Westcon-Comstor has signed up Insentra in New Zealand, in a move designed to provide deepened levels of service to partners across the channel.
Reseller News can reveal that the partnership was first struck in early 2018, and following a soft launch in market, Insentra services are now available to Kiwi providers.
Based in Sydney, Insentra is a channel-centric IT services partner, delivering specialised professional and managed services exclusively through the channel.
Driven through indirect business, the company’s partner-only model provides resellers with direct access to industry expertise in a “non-competitive manner".
“We wanted to deliver 100 per cent channel services as a value-add to our partners,” Westcon-Comstor managing director, Dave Rosenberg, told Reseller News.
Speaking to Reseller News on the ground in Wellington, during Imagine 2018, Rosenberg said the agreement stands to benefit local partners through access to services and expertise not always available internally.
“It’s not always practical for channel partners to certify in every technology because there’s so many products in the market,” Rosenberg added. “Insentra has strong expertise in Symantec and Veritas solutions which has allowed us to boost our local resources.
“Also, this will allow us to provide specific services such as Office 365 migration services, which partners have struggled with from a resource perspective. We will be bringing more services to market in the coming weeks.”
From a technology perspective, Insentra provides services in data migration, cloud and collaboration, alongside information availability, cyber security, application delivery and mobility.
“New Zealand is a ripe market for us to start playing in,” Insentra CEO, Ronnie Altit, told Reseller News. “There’s multiple parallels between the Australian and New Zealand markets and we wanted to align with a distributor who understands the value of services.
“Westcon-Comstor is well respected in the local channel and we can help provide extra value for partners, to then pass on that value to their customers.”
With a strong Australian base, Insentra currently partners with leading technology providers across the Tasman, including Data#3, Dimension Data, NTT, UXC and XCentral.
