Ex-Cisco veteran heads up Jabra’s A/NZ operations

Audio solutions provider, Jabra, has appointed David Piggott as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Sydney, Piggott will be responsible for managing the company’s market presence in Australia and New Zealand, overseeing new revenue opportunities, and driving successful customer and partner relationships.
Piggott joins Jabra with more than 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, holding senior executive global roles within the sales and channel organisations at Cisco, Avaya, Telstra and Touchbase.

“He has a proven track record in sales and business development within the IT, networking and customer contact industry, and will be a real asset to Jabra as we grow our business in Australia and New Zealand.”
Most recently, Piggott worked at Cisco for four years where he was Regional Manager – Service Provider Sales, with responsibility for growing the business year on year - his achievements included successfully building the regional cloud strategy with SingTel Optus across their collaboration and IaaS offerings.
Prior, Piggott worked for over three years at Avaya as Global Account Director where he successfully delivered Unified Communications and contact centre technical and commercial solutions, for key global accounts across Australia and New Zealand.
