A year’s worth of hard work with Citrix has paid off for distributor Express Data.
The company has won Citrix’s first ever Asia-Pacific Distributor of the Year award.
The award was presented to Express Data at the recent invitation-only Citrix Summit for partners from around the world, held in the US.
The company beat distributors from various other countries in Asia-Pacific, including Australia, Hong Kong, India and Japan.
Express Data national sales manger Paul Plester says the award comes as the company has enjoyed a very good year with Citrix, helping it grab market share from rivals.
“We have a particularly good Citrix team and have worked very closely with Citrix on large deals,” he says.
New Citrix products, such as its SSL-VPN appliance and Citrix Online, also generated a lot of new business for the brand, says Plester.
“That has probably taken us over the edge,” he says.
Citrix says the prize was awarded to the distributor who had done the most outstanding job in enabling partners to sell Citrix solutions through events, training, partner selection, new product enablement and demand generation.
Meanwhile, Express Data’s parent company, Dimension Data Australia, was awarded as the best systems integrator in the region.
