Anyware changes model with new sub-distributor

Anyware Computer Accessories has signed up Parnell, Auckland-based JDI as its second sub-distributor.
Peter de Wever, country manager at Anyware says it is another step in the process of becoming a distributor rather than wholesaler. “JDI fitted in with our model of moving toward a distribution model. JDI is respected and has a good name in the market. It’s also prepared to hold stock for us.”
JDI has become the second company to act as a sub-distributor, after Anyware signed up Dunedin based Golden Leaf last month.
“Our relationship with Golden Leaf is very strong, proving to us that the model works,” says de Wever. “A lot of other wholesalers have been saying it’s quiet at the moment, but someone forgot to tell our customers because we are as busy as ever.”
Teresa Scott, account manager at JDI, says Anyware’s products work well with the products the company already represents. “A number of our customers already use Anyware, so it made sense for us to join in this partnership. Our products complement each other.”
JDI is a computer wholesaler and component company with nationwide distribution.
