Robin Hood wants your help

Resellers and vendors have the chance to contribute to a project designed to improve IT used by charities.
IT consultancy and software development firm Sandfield Associates has teamed with the Robin Hood Foundation after a Sandfield Survey of the not-for-profit sector found 54% of respondents couldn't afford to keep their IT up to date and 53% wanted to use IT more efficiently but didn't know how.
Organisers are seeking software licences, hosted services, telecommunications, hardware and more, says Sandfield managing director Bruce Copeland. "It occurred to us that the gulf between what charities use and new technologies is widening. The demand by charities for more sophistication is growing."
Ninety percent of not-for-profits surveyed wanted to participate in the project.
