Security specialist Marshal has finished its latest fiscal year (to June) with 50 percent growth in New Zealand business revenue on the previous year, outstripping its global performance of 43 percent over the same period.
UK-based CEO Ed McNair says there has been “tremendous interest” in recent product releases including Marshal End Point security, Mail Marshal Service Provider Edition and Mail Marshal appliance. It will also be releasing a web appliance later this year.
“There’s so much happening that it generates tremendous interest in the channel and among the end-user community,” McNair says.
Marshal aims to gain greater ground among small and medium-size firms in its upcoming financial year.
“We have tremendous market share in the enterprise so we kind of own that market. But we need to be more prevalent in the SME space.”
The vendor also wants to recruit partners who specialise in particular vertical markets.
“We’re growing in the business and finance and banking markets, so we’re looking for channel partners with that expertise,” he says.
