In an aim to expand its portfolio, distributor Digital Blue has signed an exclusive agreement to supply Danish-based GN's Jabra brand of wireless headsets and microphones into retail stores.
Marketing manager Paul Dowd says the company is well known as a distributor of audio and iPod products, but it wanted to diversify.
“This gives us a broader range as the headsets offer Bluetooth and that is still a growing market locally. In two years I think we will see more Bluetooth technology as people get accustomed to using it.”
He says Digital Blue chose Jabra office and mobile headsets and microphones because the company has a great brand.
“They’ve been renowned for being first to market with new technologies and innovative designs. With our local experience we can help them do big things.”
Earlier this year GN merged its former GN Netcom products into its Jabra brand.
