Foundation for the Blind to replace HR system

The Royal New Zealand Foundation for the Blind plans to deploy a new automated human resource information system.
The Foundation wants to replace its current largely manual human resource and payroll system and is looking for proposals from vendors for the project.
In request for proposal (RFP) documents released this week, the Foundation says the existing system no longer meets business needs. A new system, with increased automation and functional capability, is needed to support HR administration, workforce development and operational efficiency initiatives, the organisation states.
The successful vendor will have to be able to provide a New Zealand compliant system with servers and storage outsourced to a third party data centre, which the foundation can access via a secure web portal. Integrated HR and payroll functionality is also essential.
Responses for the RFP is due Friday, March 14. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders Service website under ICNNZ reference number 20846.
