Department of Labour looking to transform ICT systems
- 14 July, 2008 22:00
The Department of Labour wants information from the IT market to help further its analysis of the options for improving the ICT systems of Immigration New Zealand.
According to request for information (RFI) documents released this week, the RFI stems from a cabinet decision directing the Department to present a business case for its Immigration Business transformation programme.
Immigration New Zealand will be holding three forums at which it will brief vendors about aspects of the RFI requirements. The forums will cover core ICT requirements, including online channels, identity and biometric requirements, risk profiling, intelligence alerts and security system requirements.
Vendors interested in attending the forums on Tuesday, July 22 are asked to register with the RFI response co-coordinator Kerry Balm before noon on Monday, July 21. The time and location of the forums will be posted on the Government Electronics Tender website.
