Internal Affairs seeks email archiving vendor

The Department of Internal Affairs in Wellington is looking for a vendor to help with email archiving solutions.
According to request for proposal documents released this week, the Department is in the process of migrating email and calendar functions from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Outlook/Exchange.
The Department is changing software as part of its strategy to move to more widely used technology.
Vendors must have worked with government departments before on similar projects.
The Department needs a solution that will be based on a commercial software package, although custom extensions may be looked at. The vendor will also be expected to offer on-going maintenance and support for the solution.
