Educational institutes put in large PC, laptop orders

Te Wananga O Aotearoa in Te Awamutu and the University of Otago Library are replacing large numbers of computers.
Te Wananga will need 1800 new PCs and 350 laptops over the next three years for its North Island campuses. According to request for proposal documents released this week the educational institute wants to appoint a nationwide, single supplier.
The deadline for replies is Wednesday, October 29. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 23744.
Meanwhile, the University of Otago Library needs up to 130 PCs between November this year and October 2009. According to request for tender documents it could need more than 130 PCs, though exact numbers are not available.
