Jade appoints new CEO

Jade Software has appointed Craig Richardson as its new chief executive.

Richardson has previously held senior positions at New Zealand Steel, Vodafone in Australia and Sweden, Cable & Wireless Optus and BHP. In these roles, he has been responsible for finance, business development, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, account management and major projects, including company integration, systems implementation and process improvement.
He will join Jade on March 23.
Former chief executive Rod Carr has stepped down to become vice-chancellor at Canterbury University.
