Connect NZ moves Auckland office

Connect NZ says it is defying the economic downturn by moving to a refurbished office in central Auckland’s Dominion Road.
“You could be forgiven for thinking that the world as we know it is coming to an end, but we are brushing aside the `doom and gloom’ and moving to new premises,” says managing director Brent Page. From next week the 75 staff will be housed in an office designed for what he describes as "collaborative communication".
“It features purpose-built technology presentation rooms that will be able to cater for customer groups of up to 50 people in a fully integrated audio visual environment.”
He says the move was prompted by the end of the company’s nine-year lease in Grafton Road and a desire to offer technology presentation rooms to its customers.
“We’ll have open plan offices all on one floor, as opposed to four floors. We’ll also have space for future growth up to a headcount of 100. This clearly signals to the market that Connect NZ is not only celebrating 30 years of business, but is also determined to continue to provide and support robust ICT solutions to its business clients.”
