Environment Canterbury replaces IT compliance
- 12 October, 2009 22:00
Due to high levels of resource consent applications, Environment Canterbury’s (eCan) current IT compliance and consent system can not cope.
eCan uses the system to process 3000 applications a year. This involves set up of the consent condition monitoring requirements, receiving and managing performance information from consent holders, data collection and monitoring verification.
The organisation uses an SQL application developed over many years but support for this has expired. The new system must integrate with other council systems such as Microsoft customer relationship management.
The deadline for replies is Friday, October 23. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 27475.
