McBride to leave SAP and return to NZ

Longtime SAP executive and former SAP New Zealand managing director Geraldine McBride is to leave the enterprise software maker after 16 years.
According to a statement from SAP announcing a new global organisational structure, McBride will “pursue opportunities outside the company” after having been succeeded as president for the Asia Pacific-Japan region by Steve Watts, who was chief operating officer for the region.
McBride held the Asia Pacific-Japan chief’s role since 2007, and before that was Australia and New Zealand CEO for four years.
