Maclean Computing introduces wholesale managed services

Maclean Computing has launched a new wholesale service aimed at IT businesses servicing the SME market.
The service will enable these companies to use Maclean Computing's NOC (Network Operations Centre) and managed IT Support Service as a white-labelled offering to their own customers.
SME companies will be given a set of tools to capture real-time alerts, handle remote maintenance and management of customer equipment, and provide remote diagnosis and repair of servers and desktops
CEO Chris Maclean says the offering has been under development for two years, and has already been proven in the field by Maclean Computing.
"Three years ago we started researching the best solution for providing enterprise-level, real-time customer support for our own customers. We realised there was an opportunity to build something that not only served our own needs, but that could be offered to other companies looking to provide similar, state-of-the-art support to their customers," he says.
According to Maclean, the new service allows any service company to deliver enterprise-level IT support to their customers, while still maintaining complete control over their relationship with their customers.
"We've priced this so it's affordable and easy-to-budget for companies using the service. It's based on a per-seat model, so our customers can easily on-charge the cost to their customers with an appropriate margin,” he says.
Maclean says interest in the new service has been positive with two companies signed up and a number of interested prospects.
