ClearPoint has appointed Paul Scott, formerly of Datacom, to its senior leadership team as chief of platforms and partnerships.

Scott comes to ClearPoint after a career break. Before that he spent a decade at Datacom in various senior roles, including as general manager of the company's Google Cloud and business applications businesses.

ClearPoint delivers large scale cloud engineering and digital solutions and the new role reflects growing client demand for such platforms.

"Paul will help us advance existing partnerships and develop new ones to deliver continued business growth and drive further success for our customers," said ClearPoint co-founder and managing director Phil Pietersen.

Scott said he sees his role as helping organisations grow, innovate or serve their customers better through the use of technology platforms aligned with their business goals.

"To do this, ClearPoint needs the right strategic partnerships, and I’m looking forward to working with our existing and new partners to achieve this," he said.

ClearPoint clients include the Guardians of NZ Superannuation, ACC, Eat My Lunch and insurer IAG.
