Former Spark and Datacom executive Suzanne Miller has been appointed director, central region at CCL.

Miller will lead the newly-merged CCL’s business across the greater Wellington and lower-North Island regions.

Miller's appointment completes CCL’s top-table line-up, announced in May.

“Suzanne has a formidable CV, with technical and leadership skills tested and proven in some of the country’s most dynamic organisations,” CCL CEO Andrew Allan said.

“Her experience in cloud services, transformational change, and central government make her ideally placed to lead CCL in the central region.”

At Spark, Miller held the position of customer unit lead. Before that she was general manager of Datacom’s government cloud services.

She has also worked for HPE, IRD, Capital Coast District Heath Board, and Westpac.

With more than 700 employees and 11 offices nationwide, CCL provides end-to-end IT management and multi-platform services to some of New Zealand’s most important organisations.

The company said that since announcing the merger with Spark-owned Revera late February, the company has won significant transformation project work. New clients include workplace health and safety regulator WorkSafe, and Children’s charity Barnados.

CCL has also gained new accreditations from Microsoft and AWS.

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
