Back-up and disaster recovery vendor Veeam has recognised the channel community across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) during its annual VeeamON Forum held in Sydney.
The awards covered 10 categories and aimed to reward sales of Veeam’s cloud data management solutions, alongside support, knowledge and product education.
Data#3 took the top honour of ProPartner of the Year as education specialist Learning with Technologies took the prize in the Rising Star category.
Meanwhile, Sliced Tech was named Veeam cloud services provider (VCSP) Rising Star as Ingram Micro Australia won in the distributor category.
In the individual categories, Louise Touma, of Nexon Asia Pacific, was rewarded for marketing excellence while Datacom Australia’s Andre Atkinson took home the prize for technical excellence.
Rob Cassio, of NTT Communications ICT Solutions, also scored the sales excellence award.
New Zealand partner vBridge was named Innovation Partner of the Year. Fujitsu Australia and HPE Australia also won awards for VCSP Partner of the Year and Alliance Partner of the Year respectively.
The awards come two months after Janet Docherty was named Veeam channel sales lead for A/NZ, replacing Belinda Jurisic, who moved to Singapore to lead the channel across APJ.
"The ProPartner program continues to enable partners to provide exceptional service to their customers while also accelerating business growth and profit," Docherty said. "Designed to reward partners who invest time and effort in learning and selling Veeam’s solutions, the ProPartner Awards act as a small token of our appreciation to our most valued partners across A/NZ."
