Paymark and Kiwi fintech Aider are partnering to help businesses better access operational and financial data to improve business performance.

The companies are integrating Paymark’s Insights with Aider’s voice powered artificial intelligence to help businesses access data.

“By combining the two services we believe New Zealand business owners will be able to see what’s going on and better understand why their business is operating the way it is, and that’s great for everyone,” said Paymark’s head of e-commerce, digital experience and marketing, Darren Hopper.

Paymark connects more than 75 per cent of New Zealand’s Eftpos terminals and for over 30 years has been the home to New Zealand’s leading Eftpos network.

Paymark’s Insights offers a live transaction feed that lets clients see every card transaction in fine detail.

“The data Paymark collects is a gold-mine for small business owners – they just need to be able to access it on-the go simply by asking, that’s where Aider comes in,” said Aider founder and CEO Brendan Roberts.

Aider's voice-operated digital assistant can help businesses answer queries such as how many returning customers they had last week and what their top product was for the month.

Businesses signing up for Aider alongside Paymark Insights will receive three months’ access to Aider’s analytics.

Earlier this year Aider inked a similar deal with Westpac.
