Global cyber-security company RSA has appointed Duo as distributor for its complete range of products in New Zealand.

Catherine De'Athe, channel manager for RSA Australia and New Zealand said partnering with New Zealand’s largest pure-play cyber security value added distributor was a great match.

Duo will exclusively distribute RSA's SecurID suite, RSA Archer suite, RSA NetWitness platform and RSA Fraud and Risk Intelligence suite. Ingram Micro was the previous distributor.

De'Athe said Duo was an important part of the New Zealand security community, having started the country’s largest senior security professionals community (1st Tuesday) and Project Wednesday, a meet-up for people new to cyber security.

"We look forward to introducing our unified approach to digital risk management to their extensive network,” De’Athe said.

Duo CEO Kendra Ross said partnering with RSA enabled it to offer the broadest cyber-security solution stack in New Zealand.

“It will also allow us to enter new markets including digital risk management, in which RSA is the industry leader," Ross said.

“With the help of RSA, we’ll be able to help our customers better manage the risks that come with digital transformation."

RSA’s solutions for rapid detection and response, user access control, consumer fraud protection, and integrated risk management enabled businesses to thrive and adapt to transformational change, she said.

As part of RSA’s SecurWorld program, the partnership is designed to be mutually profitable and flexible.

Duo will have access to RSA’s technology, exclusive discounts and end-to-end sales and technical support, including training.
