Software company, Pegasystems has hired former Dell Boomi APJ leader, Michael Evans as its new Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) vice president.

The newly created role reflects the software vednor’s increasing growth and investment in the market.

Evans will be responsible for continuing this momentum and scaling the business across A/NZ, and as a result, he will be focusing on attracting new talent to the business.

“I’m looking forward to working with such a highly motivated team and in a culture centred around making our clients as successful as possible," Evans said.

Evans has spent more than 20 years in the enterprise technology sector, previously working as the Asia Pacific and Japan managing director for Dell Boomi. Prior to this, he was the sales director at Software AG.

“Michael joins us with the right experience, having led many high-performance enterprise sales teams to success,” Pegasystems APAC managing director and vice president, Luke McCormack, said.

“Pega is a great place to work, and I know that Michael will have all the resources he needs to succeed and continue the momentum we’ve been driving in the market.”
