Reseller News launches Emerging Leaders

Inaugural forum set for Thursday 11 April in Auckland

Reseller News is proud to announce the launch of Emerging Leaders, a forum designed to educate, mentor and showcase the upcoming technology talent in New Zealand.

In recognising the next generation of leaders coming through the ranks across the country, Emerging Leaders will also offer insights and guidance to Kiwi executives of the future.

Set for Thursday 11 April in Auckland, the half-day event will provide attendees with industry champions as keynote speakers, panelists outlining future opportunities and leadership pathways, alongside mentoring sessions from Reseller News Hall of Fame judges.

Furthermore, the inaugural 30 Under 30 awards will take place, showcasing the brightest minds in the Kiwi technology sector.

Individuals will be recognised for outstanding achievements across six categories, spanning management; entrepreneur; sales; marketing; technical and human resources.

To enter, individuals must be based in New Zealand; be 30 years of age or younger and have at least two years of industry experience.

Individuals can either self-nominate, or be nominated by an industry peer, with submissions assessed by an Emerging Leaders judging panel.

Nominations are now live via Reseller News, and for more information, click here.

Reseller News encourages vendor, distributor and partner organisations to identify internal young talent and help recognise their achievements across the wider industry.

Emerging Leaders will be hosted as a half-day forum from 1pm - 5pm on Thursday 11 April, at Cordis Hotel in Auckland. More details regarding speakers and agenda will be available in the coming weeks.

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
