Jo Healey has been appointed as general manager of sales at Intergen in New Zealand, following almost two years running services at IBM.

Based in Wellington, Healey is tasked with leading partner and client engagement for the technology provider, which specialises in the deployment of Microsoft technologies.

“Intergen is a place where talented people come together to help our clients deliver tomorrow's advantage today,” wrote Healey, via a social media post.

Healey - who took home the Achievement honours during the Reseller News 2018 Women in ICT Awards -  joins Intergen from IBM, having previously held the role of general manager of Global Technology Services since April 2017.

Prior to Big Blue, Healey held the CEO position at Dimension Data for more than two years, before exiting the business in February 2017.

Furthermore, Healey spent eight years at Fujitsu in a variety of management roles beforehand, including managing director, country manager and general manager of sales and service delivery, alongside previous positions at HP New Zealand and Computerland.

Operating as a subsidiary of Empired, Intergen is a business built on Microsoft technologies, with core capabilities across customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise applications and business intelligence, alongside mobile solutions, cloud and web content management.

Specifically, the provider offers deep expertise across Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Dynamics 365, in addition to Power BI, SQL Server and Skype for Business capabilities.

Furthermore, Intergen was recognised as the 2018 Country Partner of the Year in New Zealand by Microsoft, with the design and application specialists honoured among a global field of providers.

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
