Ingram Micro has launched an online lease hub in partnership with FlexiGroup New Zealand, designed to provide competitive leasing quotes to more than 3000 partners nationwide.

Under the banner of Lease Hub, the platform allows resellers to “simply and instantly access” lease quotes for customers, providing a cash-flow alternative to purchasing IT upfront.

All lease quotes can be tracked, changed, stored and revisited at any time within the leasing hub including adding margins and bundling assets from a range of suppliers.

“We’re committed to ensuring our resellers have the right information at their fingertips to support their sales and the ever evolving needs of their customers,” said Gary Bigwood, managing director of Ingram Micro New Zealand. “The introduction of the lease hub means resellers can now receive an instant lease quote along with their Ingram Micro quote.

“This supports a streamlined customer experience giving resellers the ability to shorten sales cycles, bundle services, improve margins, plan for upgrades and get paid quicker.”

According to Bigwood, the lease hub is the "first of its kind" in New Zealand and has been created to meet the growing demand for "simpler and more accessible" lease solutions.

“The lease hub is intuitive to the type and combination of hardware and software supplied even across the thousands of different SKUs we offer,” he added.

“Where there is something needed outside of the vast Ingram Micro product range the lease hub has the built in flexibility for resellers to add third party items.”

Furthermore, Gary Nalder - chief commercial officer of FlexiGroup New Zealand - said leasing is often overlooked as an alternative to ownership or bank funding.

“Simple and straightforward lease quoting hasn’t been easily available for resellers to offer in the past,” he said.

“The Ingram Micro Lease Hub gives resellers a real time, fully automated tool to build lease quotes into every sales proposal – and if the customer proceeds with a lease, the reseller gets paid and FlexiGroup takes care of the rest of it.

“FlexiGroup’s leasing solutions offer significant business benefits. It’s an efficient way to use capital, conserves bank facilities, provides greater tax benefits, protects equipment from loss, theft and accidental damage and helps businesses to keep ahead of the technology curve.”
