Nextgen has signed a sole distribution agreement with Paessler across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), as part of plans to deepen data management capabilities.

The German vendor specialises in monitoring solutions, spanning systems, devices, traffic and applications within a company’s IT infrastructure.

Used by more than 200,000 system administrators worldwide, the distribution deal is designed to increase market growth through the channel on both sides of the Tasman.

“We are looking forward to expanding our reach in the A/NZ market with Nextgen,” said George Wilson, director of sales operations across Asia Pacific at Paessler.

“The way they bring added value really stands out, by proactively seeking and facilitating opportunities that bring us together with partners out in the marketplace.

“This will allow us to bring our solutions to more businesses across the A/NZ region and grow our footprint in the local market.”

According to John Walters - CEO of Nextgen Group - Paessler complements the aggregator’s current vendor solutions set-up across the data management space.

“Paessler’s solutions offer simple, cost effective monitoring for the entire IT infrastructure, with a strong focus towards IoT so it can also monitor anything that is network connected, like medical equipment for example,” he said.

“New agreements like this contribute to what we call “Distribution Reinvented” and it depends on strategic partnerships with leading technology partners such as Paessler to honour this value.”
