Eaton has updated its Power Advantage partner program that now counts with new Certified, Authorised and Approved partner levels and a new portal for power quality partners.

The new portal features, available for partners in Australia and New Zealand, includes Power Advantage training academy, monthly promotions, rewards and a 24-hour turnaround on deal registrations.

Along with the updates, Eaton has also announced the inaugural Eaton Partner Conference to be held in Sydney in April 2019, for power quality partners only.

John Atherton, general manager, power quality A/NZ at Eaton said the new platform simplifies the way the vendor interacts with its partners.

“We look forward to engaging with partners on this efficient platform, while offering partners the opportunity to reap the benefits of the various rewards programs and promotions we have on offer," he said.

By building the Power Advantage Training Academy into the portal, partners will have access to the latest technical training for Eaton products and software, according to the company.

“The portal will allow new partners to sign up with Eaton, complete training modules and gain certificates," said Gavin Swadling, national channel manager A/NZ at Eaton. "For existing partners, continuous training will increase knowledge of Eaton products and build technical skills."

Partners will have access to co-branding opportunities and the deal registration process is "much easier" with 24-hour turnaround from Eaton, deal reminders and live access to deal registrations.

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
