Perth-based distributor Pulse One Technologies has secured distribution rights for Stellar Data Recovery, in a channel move spanning Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

Terms of the agreement include the Stellar range of data recovery tools, covering software, database and services.

Available through an e-commerce platform, in addition to a local customer support team, the distribution deal is effective immediately, targeting value-added resellers across key markets in Asia.

“This aligns with our growth initiatives in creating a value-added distribution to Australian and related markets, especially in data care,” said Robert Butina, director of Pulse One Technologies.

“We are excited to embrace the Stellar brand and offer their best products to customers in Australia while also providing local support.”

From a technology standpoint, Stellar specialises in data recovery, data erasure, mailbox conversion and file repair software and services. Leveraging an expanded presence across Asia Pacific, the USA and Europe, the vendor is currently used by more than three million customers globally.

“[We have a] renewed focus on innovation, customer care and trust which confirms our long-term commitment to our valued customers,” added Manoj Dhingram, director of Stellar.

Specific to the channel, key partners include SoftwareOne, Staples and Also, alongside alliance deals with Amazon and Lenovo.

Meanwhile, Pulse One operates a hybrid model, leveraging both managed services and distribution capabilities in the market.

Founded in 2009, business offers services around technology and hosting, in addition to distributing products from vendors such as Bitdefender and Stellar.
