Deloitte has launched a combined digital offering in the New Zealand market, designed to drive enterprise adoption across the country.
Under the banner of Deloitte Digital, the new divisions aims to help organisations “navigate digital change” through “advice and execution”, irrespective of maturity levels.
Specifically, the advisory firm will provide guidance around strategy, design and analytics, in addition to technology, cyber and culture.
Key customers locally include 2degrees, Tower, Farmlands and Wellington Water, alongside BNZ, Chorus, ASB and the Inland Revenue.
“The reality is that our clients deal with a lot of noise around digital, and there is no shortage of thought leadership and opinion about the bleeding edge of digital transformation,” said Thomas Pippos, CEO of New Zealand at Deloitte.
“But by talking and working with our clients, we’ve found some of their biggest challenges are getting the basics right; it’s about making their digital journey real with timely tangible results.
“This includes tackling sticky challenges like integrating old systems not made for a digital world, getting a single view of the customer and dealing with operational silos.”
According to Pippos, digital solutions are “high on the agenda” of executives and boards in New Zealand.
“Deloitte Digital recognises our clients are at different stages of their digital journey, and the solutions we provide are dependent on the digitally maturity of each client,” he added. “We have a very broad digital offering with a successful track record across the spectrum.”
The launch comes seven months after Deloitte unveiled plans to acquire API Talent in New Zealand, as the consultancy giant expands capabilities across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud infrastructure technologies.
As per terms of the agreement, the cloud specialists joined the professional services firm across Auckland and Wellington effective 1 May 2018, with co-owners Wyn Ackroyd and Sebastian Krueger becoming Deloitte partners.
