Dell Boomi has launched a new partner program aimed at independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators and app developers to help improve the delivery of Boomi solutions.

The Technology Partner Program will serve as a specialised initiative sitting within the Dell independent unit’s existing global partner program, which was revamped earlier this year.

Available to integration, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners, the Boomi Global Partner Program claims to provide a framework to enable organisations to build connected businesses.

The program, which will be open to partners in Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia Pacific region, was created to help support the demand by businesses for ISVs to simplify adoption of software platforms across a wide range of applications and platforms.

The US-based vendor claims partners leveraging the new program will be able to develop and release public connectors on the Boomi platform, Boomi ISV and to meet the demand.

In addition, partners with similar solutions can use the program’s documentation and APIs to create interoperability with the Boomi platform. This will enable customers to make independent reports and analytics or launch their own processes, according to Boomi.

Development and testing resources will be available to partners alongside training, certification and marketing

Development, testing and demo access to a Dell Boomi tenant will be available to partners alongside access to the Technology Partner Program team for guidance and support and access to the Dell Boomi Partner Resource Center.

Training and certification resources will also be available to the partner, along with marketing resources.

“Boomi has always been an open platform,” said Dave Tavolaro, vice president of business development at Dell Boomi. “The more, strong partners there are who continue to deliver value-added adjacent solutions to the platform, the more successful our customers are going to be with their transformation projects.

“This specialised partner program is aimed at giving Boomi technology partners the training, support and resources they need to meet rapidly growing demands from customers that want to build connected businesses.”
