Leading partners, start-ups, vendors, distributors and individuals honoured

Reseller News honoured the industry’s finest on a standout evening for the channel in New Zealand, recognising the achievements of a leading line-up of partners, start-ups, vendors, distributors and individuals.

The highlights of the past 12 months were once again played out on the grandest stage, in front of over 450 of the country’s leading industry figures.

Hosted by Paul Ego, the fourth awarding of the channel’s finest set the stage for three Reseller News Hall of Fame inductees; Chris Simpson; Kendra Ross and Phill Patton.

Since launching in 2015, the Awards continue to celebrate and reward excellence across the Kiwi channel.

The revamped line-up recognised customer value and innovation, honouring the channel across eight categories - Partner Value; Emerging Technologies; Homegrown Innovators; Vendor Value; Distributor Value; Entrepreneurship Innovation; Channel Choice and Hall of Fame.

Reseller News congratulates all winners, finalists and nominees, and thanks a judging panel comprising of over 70 of the industry’s leading influencers.

Datacom wins this award for reshaping how Kotahi takes supplier goods to the world, through Microsoft Azure. Kotahi can now develop new solutions at speed, while growing the business through increased customer acquisition.

Smart Technology

WINNER: Dynamo6
HIGHLY COMMENDED: Aportio

Dynamo6 wins this award for leveraging OpenCV, Python and Google BigQuery technologies to built a traffic dashboard solution. Through a simple dashboard creation, response time reduced from an average of two hours to 5-10 minutes.

Digital Transformation

WINNER: Lexel Systems

Lexel Systems wins this award for serving up Microsoft cloud for My Food Bag, allowing the Kiwi success story to expand beyond its start-up roots to become the third largest food retailer in New Zealand.

Internet of Things

WINNER: ModuSense

ModuSense wins this award for leveraging sensors to create data insights for Comvita. The platform overhauled the remote health-checking of beehives, removing the need for costly helicopter usage.
