Kiwi creative technical agency Enlighten Designs has earned Microsoft's co-sell ready designation under the software giant's One Commercial Partner (OCP) program.
Microsoft’s global sales force will now work directly with Enlighten to accelerate its solutions in data and artificial intelligence (AI).
Hamilton-based Enlighten offers services in data-driven storytelling and develops value-added solutions in data and analytics with Azure, Power BI, and Power BI embedded.
The 70-person innovation studio landed a contract to be the delivery partner for Microsoft’s newly formed data journalism program in 2016, with the company now the delivery partner for Microsoft’s global modern journalism team with clients such as The Associated Press and Vox Media.
Enlighten is already working with Microsoft Azure field sales teams and partners on targeted customer opportunities.
“We are very excited to welcome Enlighten Designs as a new systems integration partner specialising in the data and analytics space,” said Ryan Tarak, partner development manager at Microsoft New Zealand.
"Microsoft’s sales and marketing investment in the Co-Sell Ready program demonstrates our commitment to supporting partners’ go-to-market efforts and their success. Working together we can achieve more and empower customers to achieve more too."
Enlighten also offers website, mobile and custom development and is an established Microsoft SharePoint Elite partner.
In addition to The Associated Press and Vox Media, clients range from local Waikato start-ups to multinational billion dollar organisations including Air New Zealand, Microsoft, Livestock Improvement Corporation, various city councils, and Red Bull.
