Dicker Data expands Kyocera reach to NZ

Agreement represents extension of distributor’s current deal in Australia

Dicker Data has been appointed as a distributor of Kyocera in New Zealand, spanning the vendor’s A3 and A4 ECOSYS print and consumables solutions.

Effective immediately, the agreement represents an extension of the distributor’s current deal in Australia which was finalised in early July.

“Following the successful launch of our partnership with Kyocera in Australia last month, I’m pleased to now be announcing the extension of our distributorship to encompass the New Zealand market,” said David Dicker, chairman and CEO of Dicker Data.

“We’re looking forward to working with the team at Kyocera to accelerate their growth across A/NZ whilst ensuring our partners enjoy above average profitability through their competitive partner program.”

As reported by sister publication ARN, Dicker Data first announced a new distribution deal for the full range of Kyocera A3 and A4 Ecosys printers and consumables on 5 July, covering the Australian market.

Specifically, plans are now in place to leverage Kyocera’s partner program to enable print printers to boost profitability on both sides of the Tasman.

“I am extremely excited to expand our distribution footprint by partnering with Dicker Data,” added David Finn, managing director of Kyocera Document Solutions.

“Both parties have experienced impressive growth in recent years and I believe our strong product portfolio coupled with our reseller programs will complement Dicker Data’s already successful business model.”

Dicker Data said stock is now available in New Zealand, with the distributor ready to fulfil customer orders effective immediately.
