Auckland-based Mindfull has been appointed as the first reseller of Anaplan connected planning software in New Zealand.

San Francisco-based Anaplan develops a cloud platform to run virtually any planning process by connecting data, people and plans.

The system includes modules for planning, forecasting, modelling, supply chain planning, sales performance management, performance management, and more.

"The company ticked all the boxes to support our expansion in New Zealand, including its track record of success and technical expertise in supporting both public and private sector organisations with their analytics, supply chain and business planning and performance transformation requirements" said Chris Wilkins, director of A/NZ channels at Anaplan, when speaking about the vendor's partnership with Mindfull.

“We look forward to working with Mindfull to create a mutually beneficial cloud revenue stream which is proving attractive for Anaplan throughout the Asia Pacific region."

Mindfull has more than 250 local and international customers accessing a range of data management, planning, budgeting and forecasting solutions across vertical markets, including agriculture, finance, health, property development, local government, retail and utilities.

Belinda Johnson, CEO of Mindful, said with business transformation accelerating across New Zealand, Anaplan represents the "perfect fit" for companies seeking an enterprise planning and performance system built for the cloud age.

"At the same time, we had a gap in our business offering and felt that the overall Anaplan solution set in terms of product, support, training and planning transformation services would be an excellent complement to our existing business,” Johnson added.

Anaplan will now bring value-add to the formerly finance-focused Mindfull technology stack from a planning perspective and enable Mindfull to expand services into different departments within its current customer base.

“We can now offer with confidence a solution which incorporates supply chain, sales and operations planning in a single platform," Johnson added.

Belinda and Richard Johnson are the major shareholders in Mindfull Group with venture fund Punakaiki holding just under 20 per cent.

"This will empower us to offer customers from the chief of operations to supply chain department management a new way to to rethink how they can potentially transform their enterprise planning processes," Johnson added.

Anaplan has a fast-growing global community of world class partners, including firms such as Deloitte, McKinsey, PwC, and Accenture, as well as focused expert consulting companies.

The privately-held company operates from 20 offices through 175 expert partners servicing more than 850 customers worldwide.

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
