OSS Group acquires 100 per cent ownership of Open Systems Specialists

Group employs more than 80 staff, spanning five locations across A/NZ

OSS Group has acquired the remaining 50 per cent shareholding in Open Systems Specialists, and now wholly owns the technology specialists.

Under this new ownership, OSS Group and OSS bring a combined portfolio of services to the market that extend from business and technology consulting, through application and big data integration, to operations and management.

The combined group employs more than 80 staff, spanning five locations across Australia and New Zealand.

Founded in 1995, Open Systems Specialists provides expertise across standards-based IT architecture, platforms, automation and data.

The joint capability includes consulting, project management and architecture, in addition to automation, cloud services, security, and managed services.

From a vendor perspective, key partners include Red Hat, Amazon Web Services, Cloudera and Talend, alongside IBM, Kong, SugarCRM and Hubspot.

Furthermore, other alliances span the portfolios of Marketo, Puppet, VMware, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Pure Storage, in addition to Cisco, Microsoft, Sophos, Commvault, Darktrace and A10 Networks.
