Qrious has appointed Nathalie Morris as CEO in New Zealand, replacing David Leach who is leaving the Spark-owned data and analytics company.
Currently general manager of data powered marketing, Morris is the former managing director and co-founder of data and marketing automation business, Ubiquity, founded in 1999 and acquired by Qrious in 2017.
“As an outcome of the Ubiquity acquisition last year, we were delighted to gain the business leadership and specialist marketing and customer engagement expertise that Nathalie added to the business,” Leach said.
“We see significant growth and opportunity in the area of data-driven customer intelligence and engagement and under Nathalie’s leadership will be deepening our offerings to clients to better enable them to enhance their customer experiences.”
With over 18 years experience in the local marketing industry, Morris has expertise across digital customer engagement and marketing automation solutions.
According to Morris, the marketing automation practice is continuing to mature in New Zealand.
“However, we are still seeing many organisations with siloed customer data, who struggle to develop a single view of customer to offer more personalised and targeted customer experiences,” Morris added.
“By combining our advanced data and analytics capabilities with marketing tools and delivery services, we aim to transform customer engagement and help our clients win in a digital world.”
Leach said he joined Qrious with a mandate to organise and strengthen the business for the next phase of its growth, which included organic growth, plus the acquisition of Ubiquity.
“A refresh of the company vision, mission and strategy has now resulted in a stronger focus on customer outcomes and a local New Zealand territory,” Leach added.
“In this context I am delighted to now hand over to Nathalie to lead Qrious into the future.”
Morris’ appointment comes six months after the recruitment of Stephen Ponsford to the role of technology director, recruiting the former Revera specialist to drive new opportunities across big data and analytics.
As reported by Reseller News, Ponsford now heads up a technology and architect team at the Spark owned organisation, tasked with increasing focus on consulting services, backed up by data-powered marketing offerings, including its recent Ubiquity acquisition.
