Sapply is Big Switch Networks' new APAC distributor

Expands from pre-existing relationship in Singapore

Value added distributor Sapply has been appointed Big Switch Networks' new distributor for Asia Pacific following a successful two-year partnership in Singapore.

The next-generation data centre networking vendor has recently announced expanded support for hyper-converged solutions such as VMware vSAN, Dell EMC ScaleIO and Nutanix.

“With the addition of Big Switch Networks to the existing range of network infrastructure products that Sapply represents, we are now able to offer even more comprehensive solutions to our client’s needs," Sapply director Neil Woolley said. “We are looking forward to offering cutting edge technologies that can transform and add value to a data centres operations”.

Sapply was founded in 2009 in Sydney and is now also present in New Zealand and Singapore servicing the APAC region.

“Having successfully collaborated with Sapply in Singapore for the last two years, we are excited to be able to expand this relationship across the region," Big Switch Networks A/NZ managing director Steve Coad said.

“There has been a strong surge in interest in our products and having a strong partner such as Sapply to work with us is important to ensuring we are making the most of the opportunity in this region”.

In Australia, Sapply joins Newgen Systems making Sapply the vendor's second distributor in the country.

Big Switch Networks officially landed in Australia in August 2016. In March 2017, the vendor appointed Coad in order to expand its Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) leadership team.

Mons recently, in November 2017, Big Switch Networks announced the availability of its two-tier channel partner program in A/NZ, as it continues to build out channel capabilities across the region.

The program offer partners incentives, in-depth training, certification and enablement programs as well as professional services opportunities.

Upcoming tech talent share insights at inaugural Emerging Leaders Forum 2019

The channel came together for the inaugural Reseller News Emerging Leaders Forum in New Zealand, created to provide a program that identifies, educates and showcases the upcoming talent of the ICT industry.
