The Instillery has signed a strategic alliance with Actifio in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, bringing the vendor’s data-as-a-service platform to the enterprise.

With a user base in the thousands, Actifio is an enterprise grade software platform designed to accelerate growth across hybrid cloud deployments and application development.

Terms of the exclusive partnership will see the Auckland-based cloud specialists provide expertise at the top end of town, advising customers on how to freely move data across private, hybrid and public cloud platforms.

Actifio will also aim to leverage The Instillery’s partnerships with the three leading cloud platform, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

“To exploit the well documented benefits of cloud, quite simply we need to enable data portability,” The Instillery CEO, Mike Jenkins, told Reseller News. “Whether that's on-premise, local infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) or between public providers such as AWS, Azure and GCP.

“My team here at The Instillery is absolutely stoked to formalise and expand our strategic partnership with Actifio as our exclusive partner in the data-as-a-service arena.”

Jenkins said the decision to partner with the copy data management vendor follows a comprehensive review process internally, with the provider assessing multiple options from a technical standpoint.

“As my technical team reviewed multiple vendors in this space, it was clear that Actifio's ease of use and ability to deliver cloud adoption at pace and scale in an economical fashion is perfectly aligned with our company's mission,” Jenkins explained.

“Actifio is definitely the real deal in a market full of traditional storage vendors that overpromise on their public capability.”

With presence across New Zealand, Australia and the UK, The Instillery provides consulting, migration and managed services across enterprise and government departments.

“As we expand our global reach, this exciting alliance with The Instillery represents our commitment to the Australia and New Zealand region as we empower these business with the technology solutions they need to implement their digital strategies and succeed in an efficient manner,” Actifio CEO, Ash Ashutosh, added.

“By aligning on our data-driven approach, we're proud to bring the next level of data mobility to this growing technology-focused community.”
